"Zakir" is apparently composed as a tribute to Zakir Hussain, an Indian tabla player. There are a few recorded versions of this beautiful piece, which are played in a free-floating spirit. The rhythmic accuracy of the chart is interpretive due to the rhythmic freedom of the tune.

Thank you Ville! This is such a beautiful tune. You've shown a lot of care with this. You wouldn't happen to have a copy/transcription of "Get Down and Sruti," "Come On Baby Dance With Me" or "What Need Have I For This - What Need Have I For That - I Am Dancing at the Feet of My Lord, All Is Bliss All Is Bliss" would you?

Thanks,
-ndhjazz

Unfortunately I haven't got sheet music to any of those pieces.
Best, Ville
